Dual-Phase Extraction (DPE) is a remediation technology for soils and groundwater impacted with volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This technology works by extracting soil vapor and groundwater from the subsurface at a high vacuum, then treating the vapors and water prior to discharge.
Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) is an in situ remediation technology designed to remediate soils impacted with volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including gasoline, and chlorinated hydrocarbons. This technology works by extracting soil vapor at a high vacuum using subsurface wells, then treating the soil vapor prior to discharge.
An emergency cleanup response was executed after 7,000 gallons of lubricant oil were released. The release occurred as a result of railroad tank car colliding with a road tanker. The release affected soils in the vicinity of the incident, and impacted a nearby storm drain.
After a marine terminal was demolished, several site assessments revealed that soil and groundwater at the site were impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons and lead. An interim remedial action plan (IRAP), a Remedial Action Plan (RAP), and a Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP) were prepared and implemented to protect harbor water, and remediate the site.
Fixed-Price Guaranteed Remediation Project, Former Aerospace Site Impacted with VOCs, Southern California
A former aerospace manufacturing site was impacted with perchloroethylene (PCE) and trichloriethylene (TCE) in soil gas. The operation and maintenance of a soil vapor extraction (SVE) system was outsourced through closure.
A global oil and gas corporation commissioned the operation and maintenance of a soil and groundwater remediation system designed an active California refinery. Continue reading
To improve the operation of environmental processes, we identify process improvement opportunities which include process automation and control, process monitoring and data logging, process redesign, and operator training.
We have extensive experience remediating soil and groundwater sites impacted by underground storage tanks (UST), UST decommissioning, soil excavation, tank and soil disposal, groundwater monitoring programs, health risk assessment, and closure support. Tank and Contaminant Source Removal Tank extraction services … Continue reading
Two neighboring sites owned by the client were impacted with a plume of gasoline released by leaking underground storage tanks. To abate the problem, the client installed two groundwater treatment systems and a soil vapor extraction system. All systems were failing to operate or operated with substantial down-time. Site Closure Plan and Closure Strategy and Regulatory Support, Former Aerospace Site, Southern California
A soil vapor extraction system located at former aerospace site in Southern California had operated for a number of years. The client requested a strategy to obtain regulatory site closure. In response, a site closure plan was prepared outlining … Continue reading
